Passwords

Latest news reports show that the most popular passwords are “123456” and “password”.

Don’t get caught out by having a ‘weak’ password.

Make sure yours uses a combination of UPPER CASE, lower case and numb3rs.

Should you write your password down somewhere? Some security experts say you should and others recommend making them memorable so you should not have to write them down.

If you do choose to write them down then put them somewhere descreet and, if you can, use some sort of code. For example if it is your password to access your Natwest account write ‘Bank Password’ rather than ‘Natwest Password’ or write ‘groceries password’ rather than ‘Sainsbury’s password’.
